Acceletronics and Radparts will attend the 2015 American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) 57th annual convention from July 12 to 16. Located at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, the education and professional program will offer a significant opportunity to gain practical knowledge on emerging technical and professional issues. We think this is a “must-attend” event for those of us working in the medical technology market!
This year’s scientific program features the latest research in the physics of medical imaging and radiation therapy. The main focus of the convention is on the increased integration of advanced imaging technologies in the guidance of medical therapeutics.
Because of the focus on medical imaging and radiation therapy, we are excited to exhibit and provide information about Acceletronics and Radparts’ role in the medical imaging and radiation therapy community. Our main focus is to educate attendees on the many linear accelerator services and parts provided by Acceletronics and Radparts. Attendees are encouraged to stop by the Acceletronics and Radparts booth number 539 where we will feature linear accelerator and CT scanner repair services, refurbished equipment and Radparts’ repairs parts. We’d like to encourage our customers to drop by our booth to say, “hi.” If you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact us at 1-800-543-5144 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Annual Meeting includes a myriad of available education opportunities, meetings and exhibits from a variety of other exhibitors including Varian Medical Systems and Elekta. The AAPM convention also includes a student meeting, student lunch, business and town hall meeting, new member symposium and a residency fair to provide a range of educational meetings for all attendees.
The AAPM Convention also provides industry professionals with ample opportunity to socialize and network. Special events hosted by AAPM include the AAPM student night out on July 12, Awards Ceremony and reception on July 13, Dr. Charles Lescrenier Annual 5K Run/Walk sponsored by Sun Nuclear on July 14, Women Physicists Luncheon on July 14 and Night Out at the Grand Plaza on July 14.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to gain practical wisdom on the latest and greatest technology in the medical imaging and physics community. For more information about the 2015 AAPM, visit www.AAPM.org.
