ASTRO Conference: The Premier Radiation Oncology Event of the Year

ASTRO Conference

This October we’re attending the 2015 American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Conference. The event will be held from October 18 to 21 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas and as the premier radiation oncology scientific event in the world, it draws more than 11,000 attendees each year.

The ASTRO conference is especially important to us because it is one of the leading conferences in the medical industry. Featuring over 200 companies exhibiting the latest products and cancer treatments, the Acceletronics team will find plenty of new information and innovative technology to continue to improve our linear accelerator services and products.

As a multi-day event, the conference includes full-day, hands-on workshops to cover the basics of various disciplines within the medical industry including topics such as Prostate Brachytherapy Simulation, Lung Cancer with SBRT, Nursing Sessions, ARRO Annual Interactive Seminar, GI Cancer, Radiation Oncology Systems, Breast Cancer, Lymphoma and many more.
